Age, ID & re-entry

Entry is 18+. Bring a valid physical government photo ID. School IDs, expired IDs, digital IDs, and copies/photos of IDs are rejected.

“No ins/outs (excluding Campers & ADA)” is the published venue rule.

Register your wristband before arrival

Registration is required through the official Head Trip app. Use your legal name, a unique email and phone number, and the six-letter code on the wristband. Register only your own band; registration cannot be changed. AXS handles registration problems.

Festival & shuttle hours
  • Both days: parking opens 1 PM; gates open 3 PM; shuttles start departing for the venue at 3 PM.
  • Saturday curfew: 1 AM Sunday. Sunday curfew: midnight Monday. Parking closes 2 AM each night.
  • Return shuttles end one hour after music finishes. Hours may change.

Which bags can I bring?

Bags, backpacks, purses, and handbags may be at most 18 × 13 × 8.5 inches.

Water bottles, hydration packs & refills

Bring an empty plastic bottle up to 64 oz or an empty hydration pack up to 2 L. Metal/glass bottles are banned. Water refill stations are free.

Items to leave behind

Examples: outside food/drinks, aerosols, chairs, coolers, umbrellas, totems/signs, flow toys, weapons, illegal drugs, and professional cameras. Personal-use naloxone is allowed. Check the full official list; confiscated items are not returned.

Prescriptions & medical supplies

Prescriptions need their original labeled container, with your name matching your photo ID. Bring enough for the event; medical staff must clear them at entry. Ask a crowd management supervisor to connect you with medical staff.

Will-call & missing wristbands

Collect orders at Indian Wells Tennis Garden, 78200 Miles Avenue, Indian Wells, CA 92210; enter Gate 4. There is no order pickup at Empire Polo Club.

The original purchaser must bring their physical government photo ID and order number. Alternate pickup and name changes are prohibited. If your shipment has not arrived by October 7, contact AXS support to arrange will-call.

  • Oct 7–8: 10 AM–8 PM.
  • Oct 9: 8 AM–10 PM.
  • Oct 10: 9 AM–9 PM.
  • Oct 11: 9 AM–8 PM.

Day & preferred parking

Free day parking is first come, first served. Lots open at 1 PM; cars remaining after 2 AM will be towed. No tailgating or sleeping/camping in day parking.

Preferred parking needs a pass, has no vehicle re-entry, and admits no arrivals after 8 PM.

Pick-up, drop-off & rideshare
  • Friends/family: Saturday/Sunday, 9 AM–2 AM in Lot 13A.
  • Rideshare: Saturday/Sunday, 1 PM–3 AM in Lot 1D at Avenue 49/Monroe. Follow the Yellow Path; the busiest pickup window is midnight–2:30 AM.
  • Follow event signs and staff; parking lots do not allow pickups/drop-offs.

Any Time, Any Line shuttles

The two-day shuttle service costs $100 including fees. Park & Ride stops are Indian Wells Tennis Gardens and Palm Springs Convention Center. Scheduled Departure shuttles are listed as sold out.

Accessibility services & parking

Visit an Accessibility Services Hub for an accessibility wristband, service-animal registration, and viewing access. One companion wristband is normally issued. Bring your own mobility device; rentals are unavailable.

Accessible parking is free in Lot 2C. Bring your placard/permit/plate, DMV documentation, matching ID, and the named person; everyone in the car needs a festival wristband.

Car camping: check-in & vehicle rules

Camping runs Friday noon–Monday 9 AM. Each 10 × 30 ft site requires exactly one car; everyone needs an event pass. Groups must arrive together for neighboring spots.

No vehicle re-entry. Early departure requires asking an Info Kiosk for an escort, which may take two hours; leaving gives up the site.

  • Vehicle check-in: Friday noon–midnight; Saturday 9 AM–9 PM; Sunday 9 AM–3 PM. Pedestrian check-in is 24 hours via Lot 2A.
  • Vehicle exits are blocked Saturday 10 PM–Sunday 2 AM and Sunday 10 PM–Monday 1 AM; hours may change.
  • Passenger cars, trucks, and vans only; no RVs, motorcycles, trailers, buses, or vehicles with toilets/running water. No cooking inside vehicles.

Camping showers & supermarket shuttle

Free showers: Lot 5B; accessible showers: Lot 8. Regular showers run 7 AM–7 PM Saturday/Sunday; limited 24-hour showers run Friday 3 PM–Monday 7 AM in Lot 5B.

Free supermarket shuttles: Saturday/Sunday, first bus 9 AM; last bus leaves the site 2 PM.

Lockers, charging & overnight storage

GA storage lockers do not charge devices. GA Charging Lockers and VIP Charging Lockers include charging; VIP lockers require VIP admission.

Reservations cover both days. Belongings may stay Saturday night, but lockers are inaccessible after closing. Empty them within 30 minutes of Sunday’s final performance; leftovers are forfeited and do not go to Lost & Found.

Food & dietary options

The vendor list marks vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free options. Plant-based choices include Gokoku, Forever Pie, and Cena Vegan. Some vendors, including Sweetfin and Tacos 1986, are VIP-only; check the official list for each vendor’s access and options.

Lost & Found

Find Guest Services near the main entrance, south of the Ferris Wheel. Venue-side hours: Saturday 3 PM–Sunday 1:30 AM; Sunday 3 PM–Monday 12:30 AM.

Search the online inventory or official app and submit a claim or loss report. Take found items to an Info Tent or Lost & Found, rather than random staff or guards.

Food, drinks, and merchandise accept credit/debit cards and mobile payments. Cash is not accepted.
