GA is for ages 18+; VIP is 21+. Bring a valid government-issued photo ID. International visitors need their physical passport to collect a wristband.
Which bags can I bring?
Clear bags must be smaller than 12 × 6 × 12 inches. Purses and clutches may be at most 4.5 × 6.5 inches.
Can I leave and return?
“No re-entries are allowed.” Tailgating is also prohibited.
Registering & wearing your wristband
Register your own wristband online before arrival using the code inside it. Each attendee needs a registered wristband.
Put it on when leaving for the festival: tightening is permanent. Do not cut, stretch, or alter it. Replacement before entry costs $25 if it was tightened, lost, or damaged.

Southeast box office: October 7–8, 10 AM–5 PM; October 9–11, normal festival hours for GA and VIP. An additional VIP pickup operates on the south side near the trolley during the festival.

GA: East Lawns entrance. VIP: east side of SDSU Mission Valley River Park near the trolley. Visibly intoxicated guests will be refused entry.

Parking & taking the trolley
Buy parking ahead or use the trolley; parking may sell out. GA parking: Orange Lot. Accessible parking: Green Lot. Event parking at Fenton Marketplace is prohibited.

Purchases require a credit or debit card. Major cards, including American Express, are accepted; cash is not.
Accessible entrances & viewing
Accessible entry and ADA viewing platforms are available in both GA and VIP.
Water bottles & hydration packs
Empty hydration packs with one main compartment are listed as allowed.
The page contradicts itself about empty clear plastic/rubber bottles up to 1 L, listing them as both allowed and prohibited. Confirm the bottle rule with the organizer. Metal bottles are prohibited.

- Earplugs, hats, sunglasses, rain ponchos, powder makeup, and sunscreen lotion are allowed; lotion is inspected.
- Deodorant, gum, lip products, wipes, tampons, and pads must be sealed. Sealed hand sanitizer: at most 2 fl oz.
- Personal misting fans: empty bottle, at most 1.5 L.
Medication & naloxone
Bring unexpired prescribed medication, show the prescription, and speak to a safety officer at entry. Sealed intranasal naloxone is allowed. Unsealed over-the-counter medication is prohibited.

Examples include outside food/drinks, aerosols, weapons, illegal drugs, blankets, chairs, umbrellas, totems, and professional recording gear. Smoking supplies, cigarettes, and vaping devices are banned; smoking and vaping are prohibited onsite. Review the official page for the full list.

Lockers cost $25 for one day or $65 for three days. Charging packs are included. Dimensions: 11 inches wide × 13.5 high × 18 deep. VIP lockers require a VIP wristband.
Access is during event hours; multiday renters may leave belongings overnight. Location, number, and combination arrive by email/text 12 hours before the event.
